Job Description
Join Zen Educate as a Classroom Aide and play a vital role in supporting students in SPED classrooms. You'll provide essential assistance, promote engagement, and create a nurturing learning environment for students with specialized needs.
Key Responsibilities
Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) or Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
Provide one-on-one or small group support using positive reinforcement
Collaborate with teachers to maintain a positive learning environment
Work closely with teachers, parents, and staff for effective student support
Assist with personal care or hygiene needs as required
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma
Experience supporting individuals with Special Educational Needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to stay calm and patient in challenging situations
English proficiency
U.S. work authorization
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Special Education, particularly with moderate to severe behaviors
ABA Therapy experience
Behavior Technician Experience
Knowledge of behavioral intervention strategies
CPR and First Aid certification
CPI or Pro Act Training
