Position Summary:
The Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) provides specialized nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic imaging and interventional radiology procedures. This role involves pre-procedure assessment, patient education, administration of medications or sedation, and close monitoring before, during, and after procedures. The RN is responsible for recognizing and responding promptly to changes in patient status, ensuring safety and comfort throughout the radiology experience.
Strong clinical judgment is essential, along with the ability to collaborate closely with radiologists, technologists, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
