Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement orientation programs for employees
Conduct General Orientation incorporating safety regulations
Coordinate and monitor orientation activities
Assist with mentor programs and staff development
Develop lesson plans and conduct in-service programs
Implement infection prevention and control programs
Provide education to staff, residents, and families
Participate in quality improvement activities
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
Current RN license in the state of employment
CPR/AED certification required or willing to obtain within six months
Minimum of five years of recent clinical nursing experience required
Ability to manage time and organize daily schedule
Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and EMR
Preferred Qualifications
BSN or related baccalaureate preparation in education
Certified CPR instructor
Certified Instructor for Missouri Nurse Assistant Training program
Educational and supervisory/management experience
Previous experience in long-term care
