Position Summary:
As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide residents with the support they need to regain independence and improve their daily living skills.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Occupational Therapist in carrying out treatment plans tailored to residents' needs.
• Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions to help residents achieve their functional goals.
• Monitor residents’ progress and report observations to the Occupational Therapist.
• Educate residents and caregivers on exercises, adaptive techniques, and equipment usage.
• Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver comprehensive resident care.
• Support and motivate residents throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a COTA.
• Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (preferred but not required).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Location: Brownwood, TX but openings in Eagle Pass, Wellington, Del Rio, and Camp Wood as well. Please apply if interested in any of the locations.
