The Residence Manager at The Jewish Board is responsible for the smooth operation of residential programs for adults with developmental disabilities. This role involves overseeing staff, ensuring compliance with regulations, and promoting a supportive environment for residents, all within an Orthodox Jewish context.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the program
Provide training and supervision to staff
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Coordinate daily activities and schedules for residents
Maintain communication with families and guardians
Participate in recruitment and performance evaluation of staff
Manage emergency coverage and on-call responsibilities
Required Qualifications
Associate's Degree in Human Services
3 years working with the IDD Population
6 years of supervisory experience
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with Orthodox Jewish Practices
