Travel Case Manager - Utilization Review - $2,496 per week

Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel nurse RN Case Management for a travel nursing job in Melrose, Massachusetts.

Job Description & Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Verify medical necessity of hospitalizations and ongoing treatment according to hospital and payor guidelines.
• Ensure appropriate utilization of hospital resources.
• Manage patient care transitions with the interdisciplinary team.
• Plan and coordinate discharge services, integrating with community resources.
• Act as liaison between patients/families, providers, and hospital staff.
• Provide advocacy for patients requiring post-hospital services.

Requirements: Experience: Acute care background required, plus direct discharge planning experience. Certifications: BLS required. Licensure: RN license required
