As an RN in Interventional Radiology, you'll provide exceptional nursing care and moderate sedation for patients undergoing radiology procedures. You'll play a critical role in coordinating care, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with a supportive team to enhance the patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
Provide complete nursing care and moderate sedation for Interventional Radiology patients
Coordinate with scheduling, pre-procedure testing, staff, patients, and physicians
Assist in Cath/IR interventional lab procedures as needed
Monitor and address messages in the Department In-Basket
Provide leadership and direction for staff assisting with radiology procedures
Maintain proper supply inventory for procedure rooms
Provide education and orientation to new and existing staff members
Required Qualifications
ACLS certification within 1 year
BLS certification within 30 days
Licensed Registered Professional Nurse (RN) in Illinois
College Diploma in Nursing
More than 1 year of nursing experience in Interventional Radiology
