Job Description

Join Cognizant as a Client Relationship Manager, where you will play a key role in driving client satisfaction and business growth in the Banking & Financial Services sector. Lead engagement management, enhance client relationships, and optimize account performance while collaborating with delivery teams to meet client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders
  • Understand client environment, issues, and priorities
  • Co-create solutions with clients
  • Drive RFPs and proactive bids for renewals and expansions
  • Track BFS industry trends and provide proactive ideas
  • Serve as day-to-day point of contact for clients
  • Responsible for backlog growth including renewals and extensions
  • Lead onsite project teams

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a client facing role in a consulting firm or account/engagement management role in IT
  • Experience managing Client P&L of $15+ million
  • Excellent ability to influence and communicate with business stakeholders up to C-Suite
  • Ability to interface at all organizational levels
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • MS or MBA degree
  • Strong background in project environment and application development in BFS
  • Proven ability in new business development and managing multiple tasks
  • Detail-oriented with ability to manage complex assignments
  • Demonstrable problem-solving skills with strategic solution identification
