Key Responsibilities
Assist in design and install electrical equipment
Coordinate with other workers for equipment installation
Consult with operators and engineers to resolve system issues
Determine feasibility of standardized equipment usage
Wire Variable Frequency Drives and study technical specifications
Perform preventive maintenance and inspect equipment
Advise management on equipment safety
Maintain equipment logs for performance and repairs
Repair, install and adjust equipment and components
Test faulty equipment to diagnose malfunctions
Work flexible hours including overtime and weekends
Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment
Required Qualifications
Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
18 years or older
Ability to perform physical job duties including bending/stooping, climbing ladders, and work in confined spaces
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
Able to work under special work conditions, such as extreme heat or cold
Ability to work in elevated areas
Must be able to operate machinery
Ability to read/write English
High School diploma or Equivalent
Basic computer skills including data entry and retrieval
Experience working with blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications
Must have a high degree of mechanical aptitude
Must be willing to work in inclement conditions and extreme temperatures
Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
Install conduit and pull wire
Strong commitment to safety
Adequate transportation
Use of multiple tools such as multi-meter and safety equipment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with wiring and programming Allen Bradley Programmable Logic Controllers
Experience using electrical test equipment for analysis and troubleshooting
Knowledge of the National Electric Code
Mechanical aptitude to work from various blueprints and manuals
Apprentice, Journeyman or above license with the state of Nebraska or equivalent
A 2-year degree in electromechanical, electrical systems, or equivalent
