Job Description
Join Whole Foods Market as a Team Leader to manage the maintenance team at a metro food production facility. You'll ensure equipment safety, compliance with regulations, and lead efforts to maintain high operational standards while making a positive impact on your community.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily operations of the maintenance team
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
Diagnose equipment malfunctions and develop repair strategies
Implement preventive maintenance schedules
Organize maintenance activities to minimize downtime
Manage maintenance budgets and inventory
Train and develop maintenance team members
Collaborate on Team Member relations
Required Qualifications
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
2+ years of maintenance experience in food manufacturing
12+ months of maintenance supervisory experience
Ability to plan and oversee maintenance projects
In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and hydraulic systems
Intermediate computer skills
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant certifications (CMRP, CPMM)
OSHA safety certification
Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
Basic understanding of ERP processes
Experience managing relationships with contractors and suppliers
