Join the lab team in providing exceptional patient care and gain valuable medical skills while playing a critical part in our patients’ diagnoses. 8-hour day shifts Monday-Friday between 7:30am-5:00pm
· Every 5th weekend rotation at the walk-in clinic and 1-2 holidays/year
· No phlebotomy experience or certification required
Prepping & performing phlebotomy on children up to elderly patients
· Maintain appropriate supplies inventory
· Charting blood draws

Obtain laboratory specimens for processing and perform other testing in a professional manner from hospital, clinic and nursing home patients to ensure quality results in accordance with regulatory and accreditation standards. ensures patient safety during the sample collection process. Records and documents patient information accurately. deploys asepsis techniques during phlebotomy procedures. Communicates with patients, collecting their health information and answering their questions regarding phlebotomy procedures.
Previous work experience in a medical setting is beneficial. Basic knowledge of human anatomy and medical terminology.
Completion of a formal phlebotomy program, phlebotomy experience, and experience in a laboratory-related field preferred.
