ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Corpus Christi, Texas.
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work in a 16-bed emergency department with varied shift options
• Day shift: 1 charge nurse, 1 triage nurse, 4 core nurses
• Mid-shift: 2-4 RNs, 2 nurse techs, 2 paramedics
• Night shift: 1 charge nurse, 1 triage nurse, 4 core nurses at 7pm
• Patient ratios: Acute care 1:4, Vertical care 1:6
• Experience with trauma, STEMI, stroke, and sepsis protocols required
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Tenecteplase for stroke and STEMI experience preferred
• Work with GE B450 cardiac monitors, GE EKG, GE Venue Ultrasound, Glydescope equipment
• Use Meditech EMR system with bedside computers and WOWs
• Perform triage, detailed assessments, reassessments, moderate sedation, EKG, IV, and straight stick lab draws
• Required certifications: BLS, ALS/ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, CPI
• Floating areas include CCMC Doctors ER and/or Northwest FSED
• Dress code: Royal blue scrubs required, absolutely no hoodies
• Must demonstrate non-judgmental, compassionate attitude with sense of urgency and team player mentality
