Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute detailed annual business/sales plan for the assigned territory
Deliver effective and timely proposal presentations and RFP responses
Source and develop customer referrals and relationships
Track trends in the economy and understand their impact on the ready-mix market
Compile competitive and industry information
Maintain accurate records of all sales activities
Provide timely reports such as monthly activity and expense reports
Attend industry-related events
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of sales experience, preferably in the construction materials industry
Strong formal presentation skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to influence and drive decision-making
Strong analytical skills
Team-player both internally and externally
Mid-level skill level with Microsoft Office Software
Clean driving record (for last five years)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Public Entities (state, county, city governments, etc.)
Background in construction and/or manufacturing of construction products
Familiarity with CRM and customer contact databases
Familiarity with ERP-SAP
