Key Responsibilities

  • Provide holistic and evidence-based care to critically ill patients in the Cardiology Intensive Care Unit and Cardiology Step-Down Unit
  • Support patients across the care continuum and work collaboratively with specialty teams
  • Perform routine physical examinations and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial plans for treatment
  • Develop plans for further evaluation of health needs in consultation with physicians and care team members
  • Provide appropriate treatment within the scope of practice and refer to physicians when necessary

Required Qualifications

  • Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or eligible)
  • Certified or board-eligible Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
  • New graduates welcome to apply

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years’ experience in a critical care/cardiology setting
