Key Responsibilities
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff
Provide direct and indirect therapy services
Maintain accurate documentation of student progress
Educate and train teachers and families on strategies to support communication development
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Connecticut state licensure as an SLP or eligibility to obtain licensure
Preferred Qualifications
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
Experience working in a school setting
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
