Join New Season as a Licensed Practical Nurse and make a significant impact in the lives of patients dealing with opioid use disorder. You'll work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide essential care and support in a rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities
Supply and administer medication per physician's order
Conduct daily inventory of medication supply
Maintain accuracy in medication accounting
Collect fees and perform cash reconciliation
Ensure proper disposal of medical waste
Observe patient's demeanor prior to dosing
Verify dosages with other centers as needed
Administer lab tests and collect data for review
Schedule and screen patients for the Medical Director
Assist in collecting patient history and physical data
Maintain confidentiality of patient medical paperwork
Participate in CARF preparation and state audits
Interface with the public and monitor patient activities
Required Qualifications
Active LPN license in Florida
Understanding of opiate addiction
Medical terminology knowledge
General nursing knowledge and techniques
Basic mathematics skills
Computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel)
Basic typing skills
Minimum of 1 year of direct patient contact
