Job Description
Join ABF Freight as a Local CDL-A Truck Driver in Syracuse, NY, where you will enjoy home daily schedules and competitive pay. You'll be responsible for the safe pickup and delivery of cargo while operating forklifts and performing essential inspections.
Key Responsibilities
Load and unload cargo
Perform check-in, tractor/trailer inspection, and cargo pickup and delivery
Exercise independent judgment in trailer management
Operate a forklift as needed
Complete routine paperwork and log loading sheets
Required Qualifications
Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and hazardous materials endorsements
Minimum 21 years of age
Good stable work record
Safe driving record
Pass DOT pre-employment drug screen
Meet DOT medical requirements
Preferred Qualifications
1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience
