Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Greets and welcomes patients in person
Collects and verifies demographic, insurance, and benefits information
Checks in and interviews patients to complete required paperwork
Obtains and explains cost information to patients, collects co-pays and deductibles
Addresses and resolves claim issues or registration errors
Uses resources, tools, and procedures to complete registration
Provides customer service for inbound and outbound telephone calls
Assists in scheduling add-on appointments
May mentor other staff and gather medical record information
Supports dynamic needs of the healthcare environment
Required Qualifications
6+ months of customer service experience
Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products
Ability to work standard daytime hours, Mon-Fri for the first 3 weeks after hire
Ability to work on a Per Diem basis, at least 1 shift per week starting at 6:30am, 7:00am & 9:00am
Must be 18 years of age or older
