Job Description
Join Kaiser as a Psychiatric Social Worker, where you'll be a vital part of an interdisciplinary team providing essential mental health care. This role focuses on direct patient care, assessment, and treatment planning, ensuring high-quality service to members of all ages.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and intervention for members
Provide effective communication of clinical material to members and clinical staff
Document clinical encounters in member charts
Render guidance and therapy for members in crisis
Maintain compliance with organizational and regulatory guidelines
Participate in quality management and continuous quality improvement activities
Required Qualifications
Masters degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology or related field
Two (2) years of post graduate mental health therapy experience within the last five (5) years
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (California) OR Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (California) OR Licensed Clinical Social Worker (California)
Knowledge of and ability to utilize current DSM nomenclature
