Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full life cycle of individual grant proposals and awards
  • Review Grant and Contract Agreements for accuracy
  • Create documentation for monthly cash draws from funding agencies
  • Prepare monthly fringe salary workbook for grant invoices
  • Monitor staff hours in relation to budget for each grant
  • Participate in preparing financial statements
  • Ensure compliance with grant-related financial reporting requirements
  • Lead reconciliation of the Grants Receivable sub-ledger

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant combination of education and experience
  • At least 5 years previous non-profit accounting experience
  • At least 5 years experience managing Federal and State grants in a multi-grant environment
  • 5+ years general ledger experience
  • Proficient with NetSuite

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in public health, social or biological science, business, or related field
  • A demonstrated understanding of issues affecting community health centers and diverse patient populations
  • Knowledge of federal and state healthcare transformation and reform goals
