Job Description
Join Columbia Mental Health as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist and make a meaningful impact in behavioral health. You will work in a collaborative environment, supported by a clinical team, and have opportunities for professional growth while providing high-quality care to clients in need.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families
Provide tailored outpatient individual and family therapy
Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, and wellness plans
Participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning
Ensure timely completion of billing, documentation, and treatment plans
Engage in collaborative care with team members
Required Qualifications
Master’s or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field
Current and active professional license (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LCP) in Virginia and/or Maryland or eligibility for licensure
Passionate about mental health and committed to providing high-quality care
Dedicated to ongoing professional development in mental health
Eager to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
Strong commitment to ethical practice and maintaining confidentiality
Excellent communication skills
Ability to manage time effectively
