Job Description

Join Quill, a part of Staples, as an Inside Sales Representative to drive sales growth for a significant portfolio. You'll work with a diverse team to manage accounts, develop strategic plans, and leverage innovative selling methods to meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for sales results for assigned book of accounts (~$8-10M+)
  • Acquire new business and grow sales while managing current customers
  • Map accounts and identify core and specialty category opportunities
  • Create and maintain a solid understanding of accounts and growth plans
  • Utilize enablement tools to keep customer data updated and manage a healthy pipeline
  • Know products, customers, and vertical markets
  • Execute sales strategies through various channels including phone and digital
  • Leverage sales methodologies to retain and grow the customer base

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years sales experience in Account Management and/or Business Development
  • Availability to travel (up to 4x per year)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Prior experience working with large complex accounts
  • Responsibility for a sales quota and a track record of exceeding quota
  • Managed a complex deal shaping from start to finish
  • Experience with business-to-business sales process
  • Responsibility to retain and grow accounts
