Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and determine corrective action
Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions
Perform basic welding activities for repairs
Troubleshoot and repair Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and control systems
Perform and assign preventive maintenance on facility and production assets
Oversee maintenance regulatory and environmental compliance requirements
Train and develop maintenance partners
Required Qualifications
High school and/or GED preferred
Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record
Minimum of 3 years of work experience repairing industrial processing equipment in a production environment
Knowledgeable in maintenance equipment including wiring, electrical, mechanical, electronic components, pipe systems, and plumbing
Ability to read blueprints and schematics
Proficiency in Microsoft Office skills
Experience in Hand & Power tools
Lockout / Tagout experience
Ability to work overtime as needed
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
Two-year technical degree in an appropriate background
Minimum of 2 years of experience supervising maintenance personnel
Maintenance administration experience including planning, scheduling, budgeting, negotiating, parts management, vendor management, maintenance management systems
