Key Responsibilities
Prepare and serve high-quality a la carte hot food menu items and baked goods
Exhibit Mount Carmel Service Excellence Behavior Standards
Promote a Culture of Safety
Create a caring and healing environment for patients and families
Produce a la carte foods in a high-volume fast-paced environment
Serve meals following established portioning guidelines
Perform all baking functions from production schedule
Required Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years of professional culinary experience
Knowledge of food preparation by recipe
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced culinary training from a vocational/technical school or culinary college
Short order cooking experience
Completion of Sanitation Certification Course or ServSafe Certification within 6 months of hire
