Job Description
Join Raytheon as a Manufacturing Engineer II where you will develop and improve manufacturing processes, ensuring high-quality production standards. Utilize your engineering skills to collaborate with teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives in a secure and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs)
Support daily manufacturing areas with process troubleshooting
Disposition non-conforming material with analysis
Drive Continuous Improvement using Six Sigma principles
Provide real-time technical support to manufacturers
Develop tools/fixtures to enhance ergonomics
Lead corrective action investigations
Required Qualifications
Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
Minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience
Ability to obtain and maintain ATF clearance
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent organizational skills with fine attention to detail
Knowledge of CORE principles and techniques
Technical drawing interpretation and GD&T
Proficiency with CAD solid modeling tools (preferably CREO/ProE)
Demonstrated hands-on mechanical aptitude
Innovative mindset for continuous improvement
Ability to work in a team environment
Strong organizational skills with multitasking ability
Proven communication skills, including presentation skills
Current DoD security clearance (secret)
Experience with automated tooling and programming
Experience with refurbishment and repair of Government Furnished Material (GFM)
