Required Skills & Experience:
-1 year of experience.
-Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques and procedures.
-Ability to organize, plan, coordinate and evaluate nursing services and apply nursing techniques.
-Ability to maintain good working relationships with other employees.
-Good verbal and written communication skills.
-Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors.
-Some computer skills.
Must have travel experience. Must have step down experience. This is a med/surg unit. Will not accept OR candidates. Must have acute care surgical floor experience. ENT and/or Transplant Experience Preferred • Nurses for this unit need Med Surg experience as this floor has inpatients pre or post-surgical services-mostly surgical experience is needed. Some of these patients will be Step down care as well.
