Key Responsibilities
Delivering impactful, engaging instruction using diverse curriculum materials
Developing comprehensive daily lesson plans and structured classroom schedules
Collaborating with special education teachers to effectively differentiate instruction
Implementing clear behavioral standards and classroom management practices
Communicating regularly with parents and guardians about student progress
Participating in team meetings to address student needs
Assessing and tracking student progress through data collection
Staying current with educational practices and innovations
Responding constructively to feedback and evaluations
Contributing positively to the broader educational community
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in education or a closely related field
Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining an AZ state teaching license
Hold currently or able to obtain a valid AZ fingerprint card
Prior experience working with curriculum development, differentiation and instruction in an education and/or classroom setting
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience and/or knowledge in alternative educational services for at-risk students
Prior experience in relevant grade level and/or subject matter
Proficiency in providing motivation and having critical conversations with students
Advanced oral and written communication skills
Knowledge of relevant technology including instructional technology and Microsoft Office Suite
