Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Med-Surg RN for a travel assignment. The nurse will provide quality care to medical-surgical patients and float to additional units as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to Med-Surg patients
• Float to the Thompson Unit when required
• Float to the Kingsbury unit for custodial patients as needed (higher patient ratio, lower acuity)
• Utilize the EPIC electronic medical records system for documentation
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and care standards
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams

Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years of recent Med-Surg nursing experience – Required
• Willingness to float to the Thompson Unit and Kingsbury Custodial patients as needed
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records – Required
• Must have own vehicle to travel between units when floating
• Active RN license in the state of assignment
• BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
