Key Responsibilities
Educate patients about nuclear medicine procedures
Maintain and inspect nuclear medicine equipment
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients
Monitor patients for adverse reactions
Operate medical imaging equipment to create images
Document procedure details in patient records
Follow hospital safety rules and radiation safety procedures
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
One year's experience as a Nuclear Medicine Tech
Current Nuclear Medicine Technologist/ Radiography license in compliance with state regulations
Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
Preferred Qualifications
Current ARRT or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT)
Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position
