Job Description
As a Health Screener at BioLife Plasma Services, you'll play a vital role in collecting life-changing plasma while ensuring a high standard of customer service. You'll screen donors, perform vital checks, and help maintain accurate records, all while working in a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Answer phones and greet donors, ensuring their safety
Screen new and repeat donors, taking and recording vital signs
Use Donor Information System and prepare donor charts
Maintain accurate records and coordinate donor compensation
Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees
Ability to lift up to 5 lbs. and occasionally lift materials up to 32 lbs.
Fine motor coordination and depth perception
Ability to hear equipment from a distance
Prolonged glove wear due to bloodborne pathogens exposure
Preferred Qualifications
1 or more years minimum experience in a customer or patient-facing role
