Travel Pay Package:

• Weekly Gross: $3,650/Week
• Taxable: $53/hr on W2
• Travel Stipend: $1,424/week (Lodging + Meals)
• OT after regular 8hrs./day: $79.5/hr (W2)
• OT after 40 weekly hours: $100.00/hr.
• On Call: $6.5/hr.
• Holiday/Call Back: $110.00/hr.

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse to join a high-performing surgical team. The ideal candidate will provide top-quality perioperative care in both Cardiovascular OR and General OR settings. Candidates with CNOR certification and the ability to assist across multiple surgical specialties are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide safe and efficient care to patients during all phases of surgery.
• Assist with Cardiac, Vascular, Ortho, Urology, General, and Endoscopic surgical procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and assist surgeons during operations.
• Collaborate with anesthesia providers, surgeons, and tech staff for smooth surgical flow.
• Ensure accurate documentation and patient safety compliance.
• Participate in on-call rotations for evenings and weekends as scheduled.

Facility Details:

• Operating Rooms: 8 general OR rooms + 2 dedicated Heart Rooms (Total 9–10)
• Average Cases per Day: 23–25
• Case Types: General, Vascular, Ortho, Urology, Endoscopy, Open Heart (no trauma cases, though emergency cases do occur)

Schedule & Call Requirements:

• Weeknight Call: 1830–0600; minimum 2 nights per 4-week schedule
• Weekend Call: Every 2nd or 3rd weekend (expected to reduce to every 3rd or 4th when fully staffed)

Certifications Required:

• BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – Required
• CNOR (Certified Perioperative Nurse) – Preferred
