Job Description
Join San Juan Regional Medical Center as a Nephrology Unit Nurse Technician, where you will provide compassionate, direct patient care and support a dedicated healthcare team. Key Responsibilities
Provides individualized assistance with the activities of daily living appropriate for the area of practice
Performs vital signs and reports abnormal findings as indicated
Communicates pertinent patient information to the appropriate members of the healthcare team
Understands and follows policy, procedure and regulatory requirements as outlined by SJRMC
Builds productive interpersonal relationships in every encounter
Demonstrates teamwork
May perform additional tasks under the direct supervision of a licensed RN
Performs other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Currently enrolled and active in an accredited nursing program
Successful completion of the 1st and 2nd semesters of a nursing program
Documentation from the accredited nursing program verifying the above
Current BLS Certification
Preferred Qualifications
Plans to potentially seek employment at SJRMC as an RN upon successful completion of nursing program
