Job Description

Join Zen Educate as a Special Education Paraprofessional for the 2025-2026 school year, where you'll support diverse learners and implement behavior support plans. This full-time role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact within a welcoming school community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Provide one-on-one or small group behavioral support
  • Collaborate with teachers and behavior specialists
  • Track and document behavioral data
  • Partner with special education staff and families
  • Support students with daily routines

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Experience supporting individuals with Special Educational Needs
  • Experience providing personal care support
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to stay calm and patient in challenging situations
  • US Work Authorization
  • English proficiency
  • Passion for supporting students

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting children with autism or complex emotional needs
  • Experience in special education with moderate to severe behaviors
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Knowledge of behavioral intervention strategies
  • Additional training in behavioral techniques
