Responsibilities
- Provide routine and emergency nursing care in a correctional environment
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner
- Monitor patient health and report changes to supervising RN or physician
- Collaborate with correctional staff and healthcare providers
- Maintain a safe, secure, and respectful environment for patients and staff
Required Skills & Experience
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Active LPN license in New Jersey
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong communication and assessment skills
- 1 year corrections experience preferred
