Key Responsibilities
Receives and prepares specimens according to standard protocols
Performs analytical laboratory tests and calculations
Conducts quality control procedures
Calibrates, maintains and monitors laboratory equipment
Performs phlebotomy procedures as appropriate
Maintains confidentiality of patient-related information
Required Qualifications
Associates Degree in medical technology, medical laboratory science, clinical laboratory science, or chemical, physical or biological science
Current license in the state of practice (if applicable)
ASCP, AMT, or AAB certification as Medical Lab Technician
Preferred Qualifications
Hospital or Clinical Laboratory Testing experience
