As an EMS Clinical Coordinator at Global Medical Response, you'll oversee the Paramedic Clinical/Field Education Program, ensuring students receive quality training through effective coordination and communication with clinical sites. Your role will have a direct impact on the education and preparedness of future emergency medical professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinates all aspects of the Paramedic Clinical/Field Education Program
Communicates with hospitals and EMS agencies to place students in clinical/field rotations
Monitors student progress throughout clinical and field experience
Manages the clinical contract process
Develops and maintains relationships with clinical site managers and staff
Schedules clinical rotations and confirms schedules in writing
Supervises and observes students during clinical rotations
Conducts performance reviews and provides ongoing assessments
Required Qualifications
Associate degree preferred
Certified Paramedic or Licensed Registered Nurse required
Minimum 3 years of progressive field/clinical experience as a Paramedic or Registered Nurse
Must complete an approved instructor course within one year of hire
Current certification/licensure in the Program state
Preferred Qualifications
Supervisory experience preferred
NREMT preferred
AHA ACLS Instructor certification
PALS certification
PHTLS Instructor certification
