Job Description & Requirements

Duties:
- Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment.
- Demonstrates competency in delivery of care to a primarily adult population.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Excellent customer service, critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
- Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion of a minimum of two years education at an accredited School of Nursing in order to be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- One year experience in Medical Surgical nursing.
Required Education:
- Associate’s degree in nursing.
Preferred Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Required:
- Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state RN License required.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS).
- Every other weekend
- Basic Rhythm Competency test required
