Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Skilled Nursing Facility

MedAdventures is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in Chesapeake, VA. This is a great opportunity to support patient recovery and functional independence in a collaborative, team-focused setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed PT.
  • Assist in implementing treatment plans to help patients regain function and mobility.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Support patient education and engagement in therapy.
  • Collaborate with PTs and interdisciplinary teams for quality outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Active Virginia PTA license (or eligibility to obtain).
  • SNF experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Passion for improving patients’ quality of life.
