Key Responsibilities
Evaluates patients and selects appropriate treatments to improve or restore function.
Participates in interdisciplinary approaches for education and clinical training.
Conducts patient evaluations and modifies treatments based on individual needs.
Educates patients and families on home exercise programs and functional activities.
Documents treatment in accordance with insurance guidelines.
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited program of Speech Language Pathology with a minimum of a M.S.
Holds current Connecticut license for Speech Language Pathology.
Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Basic personal computer skills in Windows programs like Word, Outlook, and Excel.
