Job Description
Join Raytheon's team as a Senior Systems Engineer specializing in Guidance, Navigation, and Control. You'll be integral in enhancing missile system performance and integrating advanced software algorithms, collaborating within a dynamic engineering team to tackle challenging tasks that ensure a safer world.
Key Responsibilities
Development of embedded tactical missile flight code
Identification, design, and execution of studies for new system capabilities
Definition and execution of system level performance studies
Work within an agile framework for development planning
Provide guidance for training new engineers
Support missile performance analysis
Required Qualifications
Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
Engineering experience in missile system applications
Experience with simulation-based system level performance evaluation
Experience with MATLAB, C, C++, and/or Object-Oriented design
Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
3 or more years of experience with simulation-based system level performance evaluation
3 or more years of experience with MATLAB, C, C++, and/or Object-Oriented design
Experience developing software in a Unix or Linux environment
Experience supporting flight tests
Results-oriented work ethic
Familiarity with ship system interfaces and integration
