What you'll do...

  • Lead the alignment of cross-functional teams (Finance, HR, Operations, and Technology) to deliver key business objectives by leveraging cross-functional relationships to align strategic objectives to achieve business goals; providing leadership and direction to cross-functional internal and external teams to allocate and align resources, clarify priorities, and drive deliverables in alignment with corporate goals, objectives, and timelines; providing leadership to prevent or resolve conflicts, mitigate business impact, and position the business to achieve strategic objectives; providing updates to the organization; and eliminate obstacles to ensure key deliverables are met in a timely manner.
  • Manage the development of and lead strategy and process by partnering with senior leadership to determine the overall strategy; align team strategies with the department strategy; evaluate existing process and identify areas for improvement; develop process to drive consistency; oversee the execution of risk-based strategies; ensure compliance with set procedures and controls; evaluate outcomes against projected costs and agreements; and identify trends in outcomes and develop process and training to address them.
  • Lead compensation initiatives by understanding common problems in markets and drive solutions where relevant; using creative thinking to ensure programs attract and retain talent based on the local economic environment and changes in the environment; work with Supply Chain leadership to design or modify new and existing compensation programs.
  • Drive the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; develop and communicate business plans and priorities; remove barriers and obstacles that impact performance; identify performance standards; measure progress and adjust performance accordingly; develop contingency plans; and demonstrate adaptability and support continuous learning.
  • Promote and support company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to others in their use and application; ensuring compliance with them; and utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy.
  • Ensure business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives; consult with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost- effectiveness; and participating in and supporting community outreach events.

What you’ll bring…

  • Compensation experience within the fields of supply chain, transportation/drivers, or manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Alteryx and have used Dataiku.
  • Ability to make complex topics about compensation easy to understand for executives who are not familiar with them.
  • Experience with storytelling and are confident presenting to executives.
  • Certified Compensation Professional.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
