Job Description
Join Cooper University Health Care as a Patient Services Representative, where you'll provide exceptional patient support and perform essential registration functions. In this dynamic role, you'll utilize technology to enhance patient experiences and collaborate with a dedicated team in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Greet patients and guests using AIDET
Perform registration functions including updating demographics and insurance information
Assist patients with kiosks and technology upon arrival
Make and confirm patient appointments
Collect co-pays and reconcile cash drawer
Document patient outreach and call backs
Communicate with multidisciplinary team members
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum one year of recent registration or billing experience in a medical facility
Excellent organizational, written/verbal communication, and teamwork skills
Customer service oriented attitude/behavior
Proficiency in use of computers
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in patient registration, scheduling, medical insurance pre-certifications, authorizations, and referrals
