Join Good Samaritan as a Certified Medication Assistant (CMA) and provide compassionate care to seniors. You will assist with daily living activities and administer medications under supervision, ensuring a supportive and nurturing environment for residents.
Key Responsibilities
Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance
Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse
Document resident care and communicate changes to the charge nurse
Assist with daily living activities such as bathing and grooming
Participate in wellness and recreational programs
Required Qualifications
High school graduate or GED preferred
Minimum age of 18
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in relevant state
Successful completion of a Certified Medication Aide/Assistant course
Preferred Qualifications
Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care
12 hours of continuing education annually based on state requirements
