Key Responsibilities
Connecting, disconnecting, testing, repairing, and maintaining equipment and wiring
Operating trucks and equipment safely
Installing, repairing, and testing access lines
Performing construction work such as digging, placing poles, and laying cable
Reading and interpreting engineering plans
Climbing ladders and lifting items up to 100 lbs
Working evenings, weekends, holidays, and unscheduled shifts as needed
Required Qualifications
Valid state driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
CDL or the ability to obtain a CDL
Preferred Qualifications
A related Associate Degree or 2 or more years of relevant work experience
Completed Verizon Technician Program or similar programs covering electrical or lineman training
