• Shifts: 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week

• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Number of Openings: 4 ICU RN positions

• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1990–$2130

ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or a participating NLC state (required)
• Associate Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (required)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification (required)
• At least 1 year of ICU nursing experience (preferred)
• Willingness to float to other units and Centura Health locations within 60 miles as needed

ICU RN Responsibilities

• Assess and address the physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs of ICU patients
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Demonstrate clinical competency in therapeutic and diagnostic interventions, including IV therapy, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection
• Advocate for patient safety, rights, and well-being at all times
• Educate patients and families, assess learning readiness, and evaluate teaching effectiveness
• Provide compassionate, relationship-based care that respects patient preferences and values
• Delegate appropriately to non-RN personnel in accordance with Colorado state and hospital policies
• Serve as a professional role model, mentor new staff, and participate in ongoing nursing education and quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date professional records and demonstrate commitment to lifelong learning
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and nursing research activities
