Job Description
As a Retail Sales Supervisor at Staples, you will champion customer engagement and lead the store team to enhance sales and service. This role involves coaching, driving conversion, and ensuring an exceptional store experience while enjoying flexible hours and great benefits.
Key Responsibilities
Champion customer engagement and oversee front of store operations
Focus on increasing sales, conversions, and service throughout the store
Provide peer coaching and support to the store team
Own weekly sales and merchandising activities
Perform Floor Leader role
Complete daily tasks for merchandising and sales opportunities
Assist with operational tasks in partnership with the GM
Be flexible to perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
1+ year experience selling retail products or services
Able to work a flexible schedule based on the store's needs
Must engage with customers and understand their needs
Effective communication skills
Experience coaching a team and/or supervising others
Ability to work cooperatively in a high-paced environment
Manage conflict in a reasonable manner
Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
Ability to lift/move materials in the 10 - 50 pound range
