The Accounts Receivable Specialist is a key Accounting team member, responsible for ensuring timely, accurate billing and payment processing to support healthy cash flow and financial integrity. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to managing receivables and customer relationships.

What you will be doing...
- Record and apply incoming payments to the appropriate customer accounts
- Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices promptly
- Monitor accounts for missed or late payments; proactively follow up with clients
- Conduct collection efforts in a professional and customer-focused manner
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all accounts receivable activity
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and billing disputes
- Reconcile customer accounts regularly
- Assist with month-end close processes, reporting, and reconciliations
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Service, and other teams to ensure billing accuracy and resolve issues
- Support the Accounting Manager with ad hoc projects and reporting as needed
What we are looking for...
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting
- Proficient with accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar ERP software) and Microsoft Excel
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
