Key Responsibilities
Aero-performance analysis of tactical aircraft configurations
Wind tunnel test planning, execution, data analysis, and post-test documentation
Aerodynamic database development from wind tunnel, CFD, and flight test data
Integration of aerodynamic database into 6-DOF simulation tools
Flight test planning, execution, and data analysis
Integration of analysis codes and models within a Digital Engineering architecture
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
5+ years of engineering experience with a Bachelor’s or 3+ years with a Master’s or work-related experience with a PhD (Level 3)
9+ years of engineering experience with a Bachelor’s or 7+ years with a Master’s or 4+ years with a PhD (Level 4)
3+ years of experience in Aerodynamics and/or Aero-Performance
Experience conducting wind tunnel testing
Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of aerodynamic and propulsion factors impacting vehicle performance
Experience with uncertainty quantification and aerodynamic data analysis
