Key Responsibilities
Provide advocacy with providers across the child-serving system
Educate families about self-help techniques and processes
Provide psychoeducation to family members
Support families in managing their children's behaviors
Collaborate with care providers to track family progress
Document services provided and maintain professional standards
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalency
Specialty credentialing in advocacy (can be obtained during probationary period)
Lived experience in parenting a child with serious emotional disturbance or mental health challenges
Ability to work with diverse social, cultural, economic groups
Background in advocating for mental health or in the educational system
