As a Registered Nurse Float, you will provide flexible nursing coverage across various units, collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. This role demands adaptability and thorough assessments to maintain high-quality standards in diverse clinical settings.
Key Responsibilities
Transitions between different nursing units and departments to provide comprehensive care.
Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care.
Conducts thorough assessments of patients' conditions and needs.
Responds promptly to emergencies and critical situations.
Assists with patient placements, admissions, and transfers.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Associate's Degree in Nursing
1 year as a Registered Nurse
Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state
BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
1 year of clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations
ACLS-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider (if working in a critical care area)
